Description of the Game

The game is played in teams of two standing on opposite ends of an 8 foot table. At our tournament, we allow you to play by yourself if you don’t like having to rely on your partner. You may also compete in a non traditional group of 3 or 4 people and alternate shots or take turns playing in games therefore reducing the per person cost of entry.

Unfortunately the state of Michigan does not allow drinking games to be played competitively so for this tournament the cups must be filled with water for the day. When a shot is made you simply move the cup to the edge of the table and do not drink the water. Those who are 21 can have beer with them and drink responsibly whenever they want, it just can't be in the cups during the game. Coming from someone who has played this way in Michigan before, you won’t even notice the difference once you have had a drink. It is even better because you do not have to worry about drinking out of the same cup as everyone else.

When a player makes a shot into a cup of the defending team, a player from the defending team moves the cup away from the triangle towards the sides of the table. The game continues in this way, with both players from one team taking a shot, followed by both players from the other team. The team that is able to clear all of the opposing team’s cups first is the winner. Once the game is over the cups will be repositioned into a triangle before the start of the next game. In order for the tournament to run efficiently we ask that our players do not drink what is in the cups or fill them with beer. For more in depth information please see the rules PDF above. Thank You.

-The concession stands will be open to purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages along with food.
